Collaboration with "KANBE JUZU-TEN" a traditional manufacturer of Buddhist prayer beads in Kyoto for more than 100 years. This is S/STERE 's unique approach of incorporating "prayer" into fashion.

Ⅰ. 全ての珠に、メキシコ産の［金黒曜石 / ゴールデンオブシディアン］を使用。黒曜石は縄文時代から魔除け・厄除けのお守りとして大切にされてきた、古来日本人にとっては重要なパワーストーン。

All beads are made of Golden Obsidian from Mexico. Obsidian has been an important power stone for the Japanese since ancient times, and has been valued as a talisman to ward off evil spirits and misfortune since the JOMON period.


Ⅱ. 表面の磨きはもちろん、穴の中までをも丹念に、丁寧に磨き上げられ仕立てられた、老舗の数珠店ならではのクオリティー。

The beads are carefully and painstakingly polished not only on the surface of the beads but also inside the holes, and are tailored with the quality that only a long-established japanese prayer bead store can provide.


Ⅲ. 本式数珠と同じ仕様の主珠108個で仕立てながらも、絶妙な長さと、〼刻印が施された、ずらすだけで簡単にサイズ調節ができる親珠によって、4連のブレスレット、ネックレスとしても使用可能な2way仕様。

It is made of 108 main beads with the same specifications as Buddhist prayer beads, and the exquisite length and the S/STERE engraved main beads, whose size can be easily adjusted by simply shifting them, make this a 2-way that can be used as a 4-strand bracelet or a necklace.


Ⅳ. レザーコードによって珠を連ねた、従来の数珠ではあり得ないファッション性。

The beads are strung together by leather cords, a fashionable feature not possible with conventional traditional Buddhist prayer beads.
